Irfan*- The Living Martyr

A fearful day.
Alarming news shocked my ears.
In a trance, all seemed still.
Speechless moments it were!
Oh! I could not believe my eyes.
Every body waited with deep sighs.
However, somebody dived for them.
Nobody could prevent it.
The destroyed dreams of kith and kin.
They prepared the day emptying the fate.
Of the loveliest creation by Almighty,
Was their fate against them?
The intimidating waters took the innocent lives.
Timeless rescue by the brave.
Even no flash flickered instantly-
The usual trend to capture every scene.
Intoxicating spirit through the veins.
It thrills and kills.
Was not he mindful or was it intentional?
A last act of rescue by him could have saved them.
But a call of cry…
They will never return.
We lost the promise of future
Does our life possess anything?
Several drops of tears for the victims.
But not a soul will ever replace them.
For Irfan, every day is a battle with new challenges.
The miraculous escape by Almighty,
May bestow on him a peaceful life…
